Research indicates that neurological recovery is enhanced by intense therapy/rehabilitation. We are now pleased to be able to offer an intensive outpatient rehabilitation programme here in the North East delivered via our team of specialist therapists and rehabilitation assistants.

Throughout this programme we can offer an exceptional rehabilitation opportunity that aims to deliver effective, more rapid results for our prospective clients.

In the first instance, an initial assessment will be carried out by one of our skilled neurological physiotherapists. Our rehabilitation programmes are bespoke; we are individuals and therefore our rehabilitation should be goal driven and your programme will always be designed to reflect this.

Your Rehabilitation Experience May Include:

• Land Based Movement Facilitation (Hands on PT)
• Hydrotherapy

• Robotic Gait Training
• Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES)
• Immersive Technology - (sensor based virtualreality such as Pablo/Tymo/Myro)
• Upper Limb Focussed Therapy
• 24- Hour Postural Management
• Spasticity Management
• Personal Training

Neuroplasticity (the nervous system’s ability to recover) can occur following neurological injury or disease but this requires an opportunity to maximise sensory information to drive movement output, in turn, this helps us experience movement and eventually possible recovery of functional independence. Recovery following neurological injury relies on thousands and thousands of repetitions and continued task practice in order to change our functional movement potential. If we do not get the opportunity to explore necessary sensory experiences then it can limit our underlying movement potential.

Our programme aims to deliver specific, high intensity repetitions using the most innovative technology and our expert hands-on therapy skills. Ideally intensive rehabilitation should take place at the earliest opportunity to optimise recovery potential, however evidence suggests you can benefit and can recover even years later and so... it’s never too late!

Please note that we require a 50% deposit to secure the booking of your intensive rehabilitation programme.

Intensive Rehabilitation Programme Options:
Option 1 - 60 Hours Over 4-6 Weeks
Option 2 - 40 Hours Over 4 Weeks
Option 3 - 20 Hours Over 2 Weeks

For clients requiring our 60-hour programme you may also access consultation with Neuro Rehabilitation Consultation (Dr Sohail Solam) to help structure and oversee your rehabilitation and progress within therapy. This is a really unique model that will help to shape success in your rehabilitation.
